All concerts are from 7-9pm

All of the Summer 2014 Concerts in the Park are presented at no charge and are free to the public.  Seating is available on a first come, first served basis for each of the concerts.  All concerts start promptly at 7:00 pm, so be sure to arrive at the Park much earlier to ensure you get seating prior to the start of each concert.  There is a CHARGE FOR PARKING at the official parking facilities located on Mindanao on the way towards the entrance to Burton W. Chase Park.  County Parking Lots #4, #5, and #77 are available for Concert in the Park parking and the parking fee is typically $8 to $10 during the Summer (CASH ONLY on concert dates) but varies depending on the date and time and is posted at the entrance to each of the three lots. Opera at the Shore
Emerging opera stars from the Loren L. Zachary National Vocal Competition perform along the water in arias and ensembles from best-loved operas in this always popular concert. Maestro Frank Fetta conducts the Marina del Rey Summer Symphony.

“Symphonic Celebrations”
William Hagen, violin
Maestro Frank Fetta and the Marina del Rey Summer Symphony celebrate these summer concerts with favorite compositions such as Prokofiev’s passionate ballet score Romeo and Juliet; Mussorgsky’s majestic piece The Great Gate of Kiev; and Tchaikovsky’s masterful Violin Concerto, featuring the brilliant young violinist William Hagen.

“Lights! Camera! Movie Music!”
Yana Reznik, piano
Phenomenally talented pianist Yana Reznik will perform the incredible music featured in many of Hollywood’s blockbuster films, such as Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue from The Great Gatsby, Richard Addinsell's The Warsaw Concerto from Dangerous Moonlight, as well as pieces from Star Wars, Titanic, The Wizard of Oz, and a work by Hollywood film composer Craig Safan.

Grammy-award winning singer Roberta Flack is one of the greatest songstresses of our time and will delight the audience as she performs smashing hits such as "Killing Me Softly With His Song," "Feel Like Makin' Love," and "Tonight I Celebrate My Love."
